DCHS Receives Governor's Cup
Dade County High School recently had a special visitor. Governor Sonny Perdue arrived to a pep rally atmosphere, running in with the cheerleaders as the band played and the crowd cheered.
The purpose of the visit was to present DCHS with the Governor's Cup for showing the most improvement in SAT scores of all AA schools in the state. Dade County High School improved over 100 points in a 3-year period.
