The fans were excited...the cheerleaders were spirited...the band was rockin'...and the Wolverines were pumped as they roared past the Indians of Sequatchie County by a score of 20-6 in Friday night's season opener.

Coach Hammon was treated to a refreshing cooler of ice water as time on the game clock expired. The Wolverines (pictured above) celebrated as they moved their record to 1-0 on the season.

Dade County will travel to Rome to take on the Darlington Tigers, Friday, September 15. The game is set to begin at 7:30 PM.
