Travis Core, All-Area Champion Runner

Dade Middle School eighth grader Travis Core has completely dominated the cross country scene this season.

Travis has finished in first place at all of the middle school races thus far, including the opening jamboree, four regular season runs, and the all-area championship this past Thursday at Jack Mattox, where he was crowned all-area champion.

The middle school team totaled 80 points in the championship run giving them an overall 3rd place finish.

On October 5th, the team will compete in the NGAC Championship races at Jack Mattox. The cross country teams are coached by Buddy Durham and Regena Logan.
