Ms. Molly Rogers
Hello! My name is Molly Rogers and I teach American Literature, English 9 and English 9 Honors. I am also the Assistant Cheerleading Coach. I serve as the head of the English department and a member of the Student Engagement and PBIS committees. When I am not at school, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors with my dog, Lundy.
I graduated from Sewanee the University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and earned a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching for Secondary ELA at Georgia College and State University.
My philosophy of education is two-fold. The purpose of education is to provide authentic learning experiences that nurture the ability to think, collaborate, create, to rethink, and then reflect. And my purpose as an educator is to teach students to love literature, love learning, love each other, and themselves.
