Dear Parents,

I will be your child's teacher, and I am looking forward to the upcoming year.  My goal is to do everything in my power to make your child's year in third grade a successful one.  In order to do this, I will need your assistance.  Education is a team effort and takes the cooperation of everyone involved.  Communication is an essential part of any good team.  I will do my best to keep you informed about your child's progress throughout the year.  

For those of you who have not met me, I taught 3rd grade at Crawford County Elementary School in Roberta, GA for 12 years, was the Academic Coach for 3 years and an Assistant Principal for 4 years.  I have been married to my husband for 32 years and have two beautiful daughters.  When I am not at school, I enjoy traveling and reading. 

I hope I have given you an overview of what you can expect from me and what I expect from your child.  I believe that with all of us working together we will have a great year.  If you need to talk with me, please call the school to set up an appointment.  I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year.
