Dade County Schools recognizes the importance of ensuring our websites are accessible to those with disabilities. We are committed to making our information accessible to all visitors and are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our websites using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.

We are working diligently on the district and each school’s website to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility. We are in the process of redesigning sites, pages, and documents while monitoring the websites regularly to maintain accessibility for all users.

Also, the district and schools websites are in the process of being designed using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS ensuring all sites display correctly in current browsers on desktop and mobile devices.
