Gifted Program
The Dade County Board of Education believes that each school in the system should be staffed, organized, and equipped to meet the individual needs of all students. In keeping with this belief, Dade County Schools are committed to an educational program that recognizes the unique value and talents of the individual student. The Dade County Gifted Program is an integral part of this commitment. The multiple-criteria assessment and eligibility criteria required by the Georgia Board of Education provide a process through which comprehensive information about advanced learning needs may be obtained. This information will assist Dade County in the development and implementation of programs that will meet the needs of gifted students.
