✅ How to enable 2-Step Verification on Gmail:

1. Go to your Google Account settings
   Visit: https://myaccount.google.com/security

2. Find "2-Step Verification"
   Scroll down to the section labeled "How you sign in to Google."
   You'll see "2-Step Verification." Click on it.

3. Click "Get Started"
   You'll be asked to log into your Google account again.

4. Choose your verification method
   Google typically suggests:

   • Google Prompt (a notification sent to your phone)
   • Text Message (SMS) or Phone Call
   • Authenticator App (like Google Authenticator or Authy)
   • Backup codes (for emergency access)

5. Follow the prompts
   Add your phone number or set up your preferred method.

6. Turn it on
   After setting your method, confirm and turn on 2-Step Verification.

7. (Optional) Set up backup methods
   In case your primary method fails, you can add backups like:

   • Backup phone numbers
   • Backup codes
   • Authenticator apps
