About Us

  • Dade County, Georgia is a beautiful, serene valley that extends across the foothills of stately Sand Mountain and historic Lookout Mountain in the extreme northwest corner of Georgia.  It is bordered by the state of Alabama and Tennessee, and is home to Cloudland Canyon (see image to the right) and Covenant College.  More importantly, it is home to a community of people who uphold values that are rooted in character and tradition, and a caring and uplifting culture that promotes individual success and well-being.  Dade County takes pride in the fact that this culture thrives throughout every aspect of life, especially throughout the Dade County School System.

    The Dade County School System consists of four schools:

    • Dade Elementary School
      • Located at 306 Wolverine Drive in the city of Trenton, Georgia
      • Serves grades Pre-K through 5th Grade
      • Home of the DES Wolverines
    • Davis Elementary School
      • Located at 5491 Highway 301 on top of Sand Mountain
      • Serves grades Pre-K through 5th Grade
      • Home of the Davis Yellow Jackets
    • Dade Middle School
      • Located at 250 Pace Drive in the city of Trenton, Georgia
      • Serves grades 6th Grade through 8th Grade
      • Home of the DMS Wolverines
    • Dade County High School
      • Located at 300 Tradition Lane in the city of Trenton, Georgia
      • Serves grades 9th Grade through 12th Grade
      • Home of the DCHS Wolverines

    The mission of the Dade County School System is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to become independent, hard-working, competent members of society within a caring and uplifting cultural environment which includes:
