Welcome to the Media Center
Meet the Media Specialist: Carissa Webb
Employed by the Dade County School System since 2000, I began my career in the classroom teaching 9th grade English. While finishing up my master's degree in Library and Information Studies at The University of Alabama, the media specialist job came open at DCHS. My first year in the media center was the 2003-2004 school year, and since then, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with both teachers and students in this capacity.
I strive to make the DCHS Media Center the heart of the school by maintaining a warm, welcoming, and positive environment.
