Experience:

I have taught at Davis Elementary my entire teaching career. 

I started in 2001 as an Early Intervention teacher. 

I have also taught:

  • First Grade - All Content Areas
  • Second Grade - All Content Areas
  • Fourth grade - All Content Areas
  • Fourth grade - Reading/ELA/Social Studies
  • Fifth Grade -  Science/Social Studies

I currently teach Fifth grade Reading /ELA/ Social Studies. 

I have coached Rec Softball in Dade County for many years. 

I am a certified 4-H volunteer and have worked with the Davis 4H afterschool program. 

 

Family:

My husband Grady and I have 3 children: Avery Brown, Aila Gass, and Kali Gass. We spend lots of time outdoors camping, crafting, kayaking, swimming, Jeeping, hiking and riding four wheelers.  My youngest daughter Kali and I share a love of softball. We love to spend time with family, and we love to travel when possible. I am a member of Canaanland Baptist Church in Dade County. I have lived in Bryant, AL most of my life. Family, friends, and my faith are very important to me.
