Hello! My name is David Howard and I am the Construction Trades teacher here at Dade County High School. I am starting my 7th year at DCHS and I was recently chosen Teacher of the Year for Dade County High School. I love helping my students and I am very passionate about our CTAE program here at DCHS. Allowing students to work with their hands and giving them an opportunity to experience real world activities is a great advantage to our students. I am really excited about the projects we will be working on this school year. The Construction Trades program at DCHS is continuing to grow and I am happy to say we are able to offer our students an excellent opportunity to learn about numerous skills associated with Construction and General Maintenance. Each student is trained about Safety and they each earn their OSHA-10 certification that will follow them into their career after graduation.
