Mrs. Lauren Ambrose
Welcome to 6th grade! My name is Lauren Ambrose and I will be teaching math this year. I am so excited about beginning my eighth year of teaching and teaching my favorite subject, math! I am 30 years old and I live in Trenton, GA. I lived in Pisgah, AL my whole life until the fall of 2021, when my husband and I moved to Trenton. I grew up on a farm and attended K-12 grades at Pisgah High School. As an adult, I realize how special and rare it is to have the opportunity to attend the same school for elementary, middle, and high school. I attended college at Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville, AL where I earned my Associate in Science Degree. I transferred to Athens State University in Athens, AL and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching sixth grade math and social studies in the fall of 2016 at Collins Intermediate School in Scottsboro, AL. The following school year, I taught fifth grade spelling, writing, math, and science at Collins Intermediate School. I began teaching sixth grade math and science at Dade Middle School in 2018. I love teaching sixth grade! Sixth graders are special people and building positive relationships with my students and helping them succeed is my favorite part about teaching. I am certified to teach fourth-eighth grade math and science in Georgia. In 2021, I completed a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. I am married to Madison Ambrose, a kindergarten teacher at Dade Elementary School. We have been married for four years. We are animal lovers and have two dogs, two cats, two donkeys, and several cows. My hobbies include spending time with family, gardening, canning, scrapbooking, working on our farm, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
