Playing teacher as a young child is one of her earliest memories, and Mrs. Michelle Doane-Beeler has spent her career continuing her favorite activity. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, but has spent most of her life in Georgia. She is married to Mike Beeler. Mike is an ordained minister who has spent much of his career in youth ministry. He is also a swim coach who won Coach of the Year Boys 3A in 2019. They have five adult children who live throughout the U.S.
Mrs. Doane-Beeler earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Georgia, her master's degree at Berry College, and her specialist's degree at Lincoln Memorial. Her areas of study are English Language Arts, reading, social studies, and educational leadership. She has served as a teacher with Griffin Spalding County Schools and with Calhoun City Schools. She was named Teacher of the Year and Calhoun District Teacher of the Year in 2007. She has served as an administrator with Calhoun City Schools, and currently serves as the principal of Dade Middle School.
Mrs. Doane-Beeler is active in church and community. She enjoys junk/thrift stores,performing in community theater, travel, gardening, reading, poetry, and crafts/painting. Above all, she loves learning!
