I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Kennesaw State University. My degrees include a B.S. in Early Childhood Educaiton, A Masters Degree in Early Chidhood Education and a Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership for Learning.  I have also received my reading and gifted endorsements.  Additionally,I am certified in assessment and measurement.

I have 15 years of experience teaching elementary school.  This year I am teaching Algebra I A and B as well as English I. I am excited about the change and looking forward to having fun and learning with my students. 

Our family moved to Dade County 4 years ago.  I have 3 adult children, 2 of which are married.  I love to spend time with my family, travel, read, zip line, tube and white water raft.  I am an accomplished flute and piccolo player.
